Mom's Birthday
On Tuesday, March 13 we went to Christina's mom's house for dinner...and surprised her by celebrating her birthday one day early! It was really fun, and we had lots of catching up to do since we had all been pretty busy recently. We enjoyed mom's turkey chili, and then celebrated with chocolate and strawberry cake. Emily, your candles were great (see mom "eating" the package a-la-Attie)!

We think of you all the time and pray for your success in life. We are so proud of you and all of your accomplishments thus far, and know your future is bright. We are sorry that this is the only photograph we have of you from that visit - next time we will be sure to take more. Love you, and be in touch.
Perrin's baby, Amelia, at 12 days old
We were so excited to be able to visit Perrin and Shane and their new baby girl, Amelia, on February 19th! Perrin is one of Christina's oldest and dearest friends (together developing outstanding 1980's fashion sense in a true Converse high-top sneaker, triple sock, neon colored balloon shirts kind of way in junior high school). We also happened to have married men who are similar in many ways, and get along like old pals, which we are thrilled about. 
They live in New Hampshire, and as we were on our way back from Maine, we stopped to welcome 12-day-old Amelia into the world. She is incredibly cute and sweet, and didn't fuss at all as we took turns holding her. Here, Jafred is holding out his thumbs so we can see how tiny her little newborn head is!!

This is Christina holding her, and she just slept and slept and slept........And here's Perrin, the very able new Mom who seems to know how to do everything and still had energy to welcome us as guests!! We love you guys and hope to come and visit again soon. This time, we'll bring lunch....
