Dinner with Kenyan friends

Last week, after final exams were finally over, Jafred had a few kenyan friends from UMass over for dinner: Omar, Marc and Elly. It was a treat to have them over.

I don't really know what to write, except that this little girl is bringing her brother and mom and dad a lot of joy.

A balancing game

Fazal hanging out withhis uncle Cedric. Cedric and Emily gave him this very cool steel drum, it even says Trinidad and Tobago on the side! We limit his access to it since it is LOUD, but it's really a lot of fun, and Faz is into drumming these days. We were all sitting on the ground of the playground, which was made out of this neat stuff, something like a recycled rubber - it was very soft.

We attended a banquet last night where business school students were awarded various scholarships. Tesina and koko came along, and we were all very proud of Jafred's accomplishments. All you other student-parents out there know it isn't easy. Survival tips welcome!
